Barricades
Barricades are MUTCD approved and come in a variety of types depending on what you need. All barricades can also have a selection of various reflective tape types. Call for information or request a quote.
Type I & II Barricade (Type I has one striped panel)
If you’re tired of wasting money by discarding broken wood panels, or unrepairable plastic barricades, consider the Metal Leg & Plastic Panel Barricades or the Economy and High Impact Modular Plastic Barricade. Our barricades are constructed from impact resistant Plastic, and all the components can be replaced should they become broken or damaged.

Type III Barricade
The perfect answer to the problem of how to comply with the requirements of Federal Report # NCHRP 350. Our barricade parts are lightweight; a six-foot X-Tube upright weighs only a little over 3 pounds, an eight-foot 1″ x 8″ T3B panel weighs only 5 pounds. The entire upright assembly for an 8-foot Type III T3B barricade weighs only 22 pounds!

Channelizers
Channelizers Drums
- Channelizer or Drums are available in rugged, durable high-density polyethylene, or impact resistant, reshapeable low-density polyethylene. Bases come in a variety of weights.

Trimlines
Trimline are made of flexible yet durable fluorescent low density polyethylene material, with UV inhibitors to minimize fading. The recessed areas on the stem protect the reflective bands, minimizing rips and scratches. The extra-large flange at the bottom of the stem allows the rubber base to hold it firmly in place. Trimlines come in a height of 42″ and are ballasted by 10, 16 or 30 lb. Recycled Rubber Bases. Simply drop the Recycled Rubber Base over the cone stem and you’re ready to go to work. Trimlines come with a variety of reflective tape types.
Rubber Bases
- The composite construction offers strength and durability. Bases are made from 100% Recycled Rubber, and come in 10, 16, and 30 pound varieties. All Recycled Rubber Bases are designed with easy grip handles for easy storage and transportation.

Vertical Panel
- Meets relevant MUTCD specifications, and is approved for use under FHWA Acceptance Letter WZ-166.
- Manufactured from high density polyethylene with UV inhibitors.
- Features a deeply recessed and removable reflective sheeting panel to protect the sheeting and allow for its reuse.
- The reflective panel is available in sizes up to 12″ x 36″.

Lights
Sequential Lights
Road Runner Safety Services, Inc. helps to decrease vehicle speed and increase driver compliance in nighttime work zones.
- Greatly increases early taper merges.
- Study shows increased cost benefits and effectiveness for improving safety in nighttime work zones.
- The devices are lit continuously, with a momentary flash that sequences through the series. In the “steady burn mode” each unit surpasses Type D or Type C ITE Photometric Specifications.
- Devices are synchronized via RF controlled circuits not requiring them to be in “eye sight” of each other and communicate up 1000 feet from the master.

Volt system that can operate on two to four D-Cell batteries. It will project an adequate signal for over 60 days on two D-Cell Alkaline Batteries and over 120 days with four D-Cell Alkaline Batteries.

Attenuators
Truck / Trailer Mounted
The Scorpion consists of strut and cartridge sections that are linked together on a support frame. The curved side rails are made from corrosion resistant aluminum tubes, which offer full width impact protection along the entire length of the unit. The side rails were designed to re-direct errant vehicles away from the rear of the truck (coffin corner). Other manufacturers Crash Attenuator models have little or no side-angle impact protection.
The aluminum boxes are filled with a moisture proof, aluminum honeycomb material. The boxes, together with the curved side rails, absorb the energy from an impacting vehicle. The aluminum boxes are painted with a bright yellow powder-coated finish, for lasting durability.
Attenuators Barrels
The “Big Sandy” Impact Attenuator Sand Barrel has been tested and certified to meet the crash worthy requirements of NCHRP 350. “Big Sandy” goes above and beyond these requirements to provide the best in highway safety. Big Sandy is an Impact Attenuator Sand Barrel that is easy to move and provides external verification of the barrels correct weight of sand.
Different configurations of barrels are used to create all of the weights used in current standard array geometries (200, 400, 700, 1400, and 2100 lbs) External sand weight verification is easy: use the right configuration barrel to obtain the correct weight! Sand leaking is eliminated because each sand container is one piece- No Edge Sales! Shipping, storing and installation is easy: there are no cone inserts!

Removable Rumble Strips
Speeding and inattentive driving are the top causes of crashes in the work zone. Removable Rumble Strips may be the answer to them.

Self-adhesive rumble strips create a visual, audible and physical alert to drivers of a change in traffic patterns and draw attention to caution signs or road construction. The highly visible orange rumble strips focus drivers’ attention on the road and surroundings, while a repeating “rumble” sound and physical vibration increases drivers’ awareness.
Rubber-based ATM rumble strips install easily with no special equipment. Specially designed for concrete and asphalt surfaces, rumble strips have a pre-applied adhesive backing that creates a secure bond to the road surface. Quick installation and removal reduces the amount of time workers are exposed to dangerous traffic conditions. Roadways can be opened to traffic immediately after installation.
The strips are available in 4″ x 50′ rolls. In addition to orange, other colors available include bright green, white, black, or custom colors.

Black Out Tape
Black-Out striping tape offers optimum protection for blocking reflective surfaces. FOL Black-Out tape is weather resistant and provides excellent color retention. Experience has shown that Black-Out tape is generally more durable than conventional high quality paint, and will show no appreciable fading, lifting, shrinking or chipping when applied according to manufacturer’s instructions.

TOM

- Work Zones create hazardous driving conditions for drivers. Each year thousands of people are killed in work zone related accidents. Improved road markings and safe application methods hold the promise of improved safety and reduced accidents.
- TOMs are the most effective and convenient product on the market to provide short-term pavement markings that work effectively in both day and night. They are simple to place and easy to remove. Many other products exist that “claim” to be easy to use and provide good delineation, but only TOMs deliver. They are durable enough for use on any road, from low volume to interstate highways.
- In an era of tight budgets, TOMs are your solution for improved safety and significant cost savings. They can be installed by one worker without the need of additional equipment in just seconds. TOMs effectively simulate solid lines both day and night, and eliminate the need for expensive temporary striping.
RPMs (Halftracks)
High visibility and longer distances mean more preview time for drivers to see, think and react as they drive through hazardous work zones. The brightness of pavement markings becomes more critical as drivers age. Work zones are much safer when the lanes have been clearly delineated with RPMs and Halftrack durable work zone markers.
Night driving is especially dangerous in work zones. RPMs and Halftracks utilize a highly efficient cube-corner microprism reflector which makes them 3 times brighter than other markers. Our markers outshine paint and tape especially on rainy nights when they disappear under a film of water.

ADA
ADA Audible Device
- The RR400ADA is an audible information device that can be mounted on various safety devices like the Safety Wall or can just be a stand-alone device.

- When routes are blocked (especially mid-block closings), there are alternate crossings or alternate routes that are not continuous, these units provide positive guidance for the visually impaired by providing needed audible information.

ADA Wall
- ADA Wall creates a continuous hand guided safe passage through work zones. The ADA Wall is made of UV stabilized, high density polyethylene. The linkable ADA Walls quickly and easily link together in 6 foot sections to allow the contractor flexibility in creating a safe pedestrian pathway.
- Weighing only 23 lbs., the durable double walled, non-flexible, lightweight design makes the ADA Wall easy to lift on and off the truck and easy to connect. The ten molded-in vertical windows reduce wind load, add strength and stability, and reduce overall weight of the ADA Wall. They also allow a guide dog to see what is on the other side of the wall. Two recessed areas measuring 8″ wide x 53″ long on each side of the ADA Wall accommodate reflective sheeting.
